Researchers have found that art therapy can improve communication and concentration and even help reduce feelings of isolation. After participating in art therapy, many people feel a boost in self-esteem and self-awareness. Painting, crafting, and other forms of creative expression can relieve overwhelming emotions, trauma and the stresses of everyday life.
We want to offer you the tools to tell your story. Whether that is through a personal journal or a sketchbook, with yarn or canvas, we want to support your emotional expression. We offer free-to-use supplies for a variety of artistic outlets including:

One of the ways community members get involved is by donating art supplies to River City Advocacy. We greatly appreciate any donations to our Art & Creative Expression program. Drop off supplies during business hours or contact us for more information.
